Spring Around the World is ISAC’s annual celebration of culture. We bring together various student groups which represent cultures which are present at the University of Michigan. There will be live entertainment. There will be interactive booths. And there will be FREE CULTURAL FOOD from 8 diverse restaurants for all.

What: Spring Around the World to promote multiculturalism
Where: East Hall Math Atrium
When: 5-9 pm, March 30th, Friday

Cultural food provided: Mexican, Indian, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Lebanese, Italian, American and Gelato as dessert!

From Ethos & Company (Malaysia):

Ethos & Company is holding an intensive inter-university business plan competition among more than 20 of the best universities in the UK, USA, Australia and Malaysia. We are looking for highly motivated and capable teams of 3 undergraduates (in their penultimate year or below) or post graduates to develop and showcase a compelling business plan. Short-listed teams will participate in a 3 day management consulting training in Kuala Lumpur, at the end of which they will present their business plans to a panel of judges and leading corporate figures in Malaysia. Winning teams will receive media coverage and prize money of RM7,500 and RM4,500 for 1st and 2nd place respectively.

This is a unique opportunity for students to experience what it is like to be a management consultant, and to sharpen their business acumen and interview skills. Participants will have two full days of training on consulting techniques and coaching to refine their business plan presentations.

This email is a brief introduction to the Ethos Business Brain Olympics and the application process. More detailed information is attached in the email as a PDF along with the application form. Please do forward this email and (2) attachments to those individuals you think would be eligible and interested in this highly selective, but extremely rewarding event.

Application Process

Interested applicants should send the complete application form including short essay and team CVs to brainolympics@ethos.com.my by 6 pm, Kuala Lumpur Time, on 25th April 2012. Finalists will be notified by End May 2012. Please note that only shortlisted candidates and finalists will be notified.

• How to think critically and be innovative to promote change and create opportunities for students on campus!

“MUSIC Matters is proud to announce “SpringFest 2012″ — a day of festivities to be held on the Diag on Friday, April 6th, from 11:00 a.m. to 2 p.m.

SpringFest will be capped at night when MUSIC Matters, along with its concert partner Pike, present Grammy-nominee and hip-hop artist J. COLE at Hill Auditorium, at 8:00 p.m. Proceeds from this charity concert will benefit C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital.
